1.  What makes you different from the other internet service providers?

What makes us different, is that all of our support and network is managed by 100% American based trained helpdesk technicians.   We staff our office with the very people who you trust with all your technical issues for your computer if you were to take it to a local shop.  Of course, this costs us a lot more, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Reasons to make the switch:

1.  Reliable network management - No busy signals!

2.  Knowledgeable Support & Network Technicians Managing Our Network

3.  Easy to signup / Easy to cancel - HASSLE FREE EXPERIENCE

2.  I'm having too many problems now with my current provider.  How do I know you wont have the same problems?

We are not allowed to speak for other providers or mention names, but we have seen the following issues:

- Consistently decreased session times for higher usage

- Completely change the Dialup Networking configuration of the PC  (Even after uninstall)

- Ad based dialers that slow the connection, and remain active during the entire internet session

- Targeted popup ads that increase VPS (value per subscriber) and additional income

- Charging a large flat rate or per minute charge for technical support.

**We do NONE of this.

3.  How does your billing work, and what is your "Price Lock Guarantee"?

Our billing is based on a per month authentication period, with a fixed 24th payment cycle.  What this means, is you will be charged when you subscribe, for the current month.  Then on the 24th, you will be charged for the upcoming months service, and only be charged on the 24th of the month from thereon.  And yes, this means in your first month, you will see 2 payments, but thereafter only once.  We find this easier and overall cheaper than pro-rated service, then setup fees, and such.  Our access servers and monthly allocation hours are based on GMT 0 time, so technically, your monthly time starts over at 6pm CST on the last day of the month.

The price lock guarantee, means that as long as you maintain your payments on time, if our prices change your price will remain the same.  You will be "grandfathered" into your current rate any time the plans, terms, or prices change.

4.  Why don't you offer e-mail accounts to everyone automatically?

After a lot of research, we have come to the agreement, that e-mail would only be activated by request.  Only 55% of our subscriber base uses standard e-mail service with us.  Of those 55%, almost all of them only request one email account.  So, in order to keep costs down on our premium email service, we only activate email addresses as requested via support ticket.

We no longer provide POP3 E-Mail Service.  It is web mail access only.

After checking out all the free e-mail providers, we suggest an e-mail account with YAHOO.  They have a great spam and virus filter, and if you ever decide to change ISPs (We would hope not) your e-mail isn't affected.

5.  Why do you offer access in different 'Networks'

We offer internet access to several networks, because we have found that our standard  network (Network 1) did not provide the coverage we need to serve our customers.  We have grouped with other nationwide networks to fill these gaps.  Of course, there are some towns that have been monopolized by their phone companies, or a single ISP that has their own equipment, locking in their customer base at very high rates. We cannot cover some of these areas.

Why do we separate our networks? Simple.  Operations costs.  Each network or group has its own usage system and prices for us, so of course that changes the rates.  We are an honest ISP.  No lies. No hassles.  Just service you want for great prices.  If we put all of our networks together, there would be an overall higher price.

6.  I do not have a credit card.  May I still order service?

Absolutely.  Customers signing up to our cooperative may use Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or Direct Checking Account Drafts.  If you would like to pay your bill monthly manually with a money order, you can do so by subscribing to the Premium Plan via Telephone.

7.  What things should I know about internet service with your company, or any other company that offers DUN based internet service?

SMTP Port 25 is partially blocked on most networks, but most POP3/SMTP email service provides have an alternate port for you to use.  Most mail providers will have an alternative outgoing mail port for you to use so this wont be a problem.  This only affects users who use a 3rd party email service through Outlook Express, or a similar email management application.  Our provided e-mail accounts are web-based only.

Please make sure that you keep your spy ware down on your machine, and that you keep a steady antivirus system going on your machine.  Some spy ware try to ping their source with information about your surfing habits, or to let them know things that's happening with your pc.  Some also knock your connection from the net.  We understand that some computers are too slow to accept anti virus software, but its essential for internet users.  Please check out our advanced support area if you have been given access, for great downloads.

We suggest AVG Anti Virus Free Edition, and Spy Sweeper, Which is only $29 per year.

The following thing may affect your connection or your computer.

Level 1 and 2 viruses (Those of higher threat)

Trojan Applications

Data Miner Ad Bots (Spy Ware or Spy Bots)

Unauthorized software on your pc - downloaded from supposed 'free' websites.

We do not require nor provide software to use our service.

We have always felt, that if an ISP requires software, that they have something fishy going on.  For Windows based users, it takes approximately 4 minutes to setup a connection using the "Network Connection Wizard" built into windows.

8.  I just had a hard time canceling with my previous provider.  How simple do you make it to cancel?

Canceling is as simple as filling out a short cancellation form on our support website at http://www.dialupcenter.com .  Please make sure that you submit your cancellation requests by the 20th, to prevent being billed for the upcoming month.  Cancellations requested after the 20th are processed in the next billing cycle.

9.  Do you offer a free trial for service?

I am sorry, but we do not provide free trials on internet service.

10.  Do you provide a money back guarantee if I cancel service?

We do not.  here is an explanation of how this works:

All orders received are verified within 24 hours.  Any fraudulent orders, or attempts will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  We collect 12 types of data during to order to prevent any fraud attempt, and work closely with the local governments of all 50 states.  We reserve the right to use proxy bypass and Caller ID bypass technology to ensure orders are legitimate.  Any number coming from a proxy, or VOIP backend, will cause MTG to terminate the account.

Legitimate customers who wish to cancel, but to now allow MTG the allocated time to process cancellation or do not abide by our TOS to cancel may be prosecuted accordingly.  Customer is responsible for any chargeback's inappropriately reported, and MTG reserves the right to post past due penalties and fees to the credit bureaus.   Once an end user has authenticated (Logged in successfully) on an account they are responsible for paying for that account for the current month.

11.  CCISP Is cheaper through my church than your other public ISP's.  Why is this?

We went to the table with our carriers, and decided that non-profit and religious congregations would be given special rates on the carrier level.  Since we have multiple carriers,  all the networks that agreed to offer this, are included in CCISP.  We cannot offer these rates publicly on our websites, because we cannot directly market them.  The churches and congregations are free to offer them to family, friends and anyone in their community.

12.  Are there any special requirements to meet before our congregation can be registered with CCISP?

It depends.  If you have proof that you are a 5013c organization, that's the only item we would need.  If your group participates in the fundraiser program, then all proceeds would go to to the registered group name only.  We would issue a 1099MISC at the end of each calendar year.  If you only participate in the co-op pricing without the fundraiser, no paperwork or documentation is required.
